By downloading, installing, or using the EssayFlow application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

EssayFlow is a macOS application designed to help users manage and track their essays. Features include:

• Creating and organizing essays by school with prompt titles and word limits
• Tracking essay versions and revision history
• Managing essay status (Drafting, Editing, Final, Submitted)
• Importing documents from local files (.txt, .pdf, .docx)
• Comparing versions with a built-in diff viewer

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
• Maintain the security of your device.
• Not reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Not use the App to infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.

5. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by EssayFlow and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your essays and documents remain your own property.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. All essay data is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your essay content on external servers.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
• Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of any content obtained through the App.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EssayFlow and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data or essays.
• Loss of profits or revenue.
• Damage to your device or software.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the App.

10. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. Your continued use of the App following the posting of revised Terms means you accept and agree to the changes.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
